As October approaches and the feel of fall breeze is making its welcomed way into early morning routines, CSVANW invites our readers to honor change; change that comes with a new season, change that comes when cycles of violence are broken, and the change that is possible when space is created for healing.
Our annual #iWillRunForHer 5k and 1K kids run aims to bring community together to honor the resilience, strength, and spirit of our Native women. Each runner has dedicated their run to raise awareness on how they and their loved ones have been affected by domestic violence. Below are their dedications.
We are running for her.
Collectively, we are running to heal.
Together, our run is medicine.
