The two-day seminar is intended for tribal, state and federal criminal justice professionals and advocates working in tribal communities. This seminar will serve to enhance participants’ understanding of legal definitions, the dynamics and language of sex trafficking, and current issues and challenges of sex trafficking enforcement.
This training seminar is intended for tribal, state and federal advocates, service providers, criminal justice professionals and leadership working in our New Mexico tribal communities. It will serve to enhance attendees’ understanding of what sex trafficking looks like in tribal communities, the dynamics of sex trafficking, how to identify trafficking and what’s being done to address the problem. The training will include in-depth discussions of effective strategies for identifying and responding to our Native women and children who are being trafficked in our communities.
