Community Conversations Book Club

The Book Club grew from our team’s interest in reading and holding space for conversation. The Coalition staff convenes once a week for discussions  based on articles, book passages, short videos and legislation policies surrounding to movement work to broaden capacity and strengthen perspective. Now, we are bringing this model to our local community through Community Conversations Book Club.

We invite our partners, members and community to come together and hold space for readings that revolve around issues that affect our tribal communities both directly and indirectly. Discussions are aimed toward solution-based approaches that empower individuals and build relationships for stronger community response.

Below is our 2019 Reading List. Dates, times and location of meeting locations can be found on our community calendar or by contacting our office directly.

For more information about joining the Community Conversations Book Club, please contact Angel Charley at acharley@csvanw.og or at 505-243-9199.
